Bob Tubbs - Partner

Bob careers spans over twenty years of bridging business & marketing with technology.  has been a community and online advocate & strategist Bob Tubbs managed Digital Business Development and Strategic Online Alliances for Xerox Corporation's eMarketing Group for five years.

He developed the business plan and lead the strategy and architecture of Xerox’s Global Partner Center (BPC).  The GBC is designed to integrate disparate functions like partner and field communications, closed loop lead management, distributed content management, and eCommerce.   The GPC’s “how to sell” content is personalized to the job function level within the partner organizations.

Bob also has responsibility for strategic web partnerships, eChannels and affiliate program strategy development, implementation and management.  He recently launched three major initiatives, MyAssistant and the eBusiness Partner Affiliate Program.

MyAssistant is an online service wizard.  It lets anyone organize a meeting, reserve a room, order travel, catering, document reproduction, temporary help, A/V equipment, and supplies.  MyAssistant managed and tracked all service orders as a single point management tool.  An Ariba of services, it facilitates and fulfills service requests related to a meeting or project management event.  It is a collaboration of five Fortune 50 service companies.

The eBusiness Partner Affiliate Program is Xerox’s first corporate-wide eChannel.  The program offers all products, supplies, software, and services while integrating TeleWeb, leads and eCommerce to thousands of online partners.   A true performance-marketing tool, partners earn commissions only when their customers purchase a Xerox product.  The program infrastructure manages thousands of partners, commissions, sales performance & tracking, marketing collateral performance, and partner communications and applications. 

xPods are Bob’s newest project.  xPods are microsites that integrate online and offline sales of Xerox products, services, solutions and software through templated microsites.  xPods integrate today’s proven online marketing technologies into a cohesive offering to potential customers.  xPods offers customers the ability to connect with Xerox online through via phone, leads form, email, and/or online commerce.  Click here to check out xPods.

Bob has twenty years experience in marketing, strategy, business development, and technology.  The last eight years, Bob has been focused his career and passion on the Internet and its influence on business.  His current focus is on the business-to-business.  He has written several columns on the business of the Internet and hosted many high-profile Internet celebrities in eBusiness practitioner events in upstate NY.

Bob and his wife Grace reside in Fairport, New York.
