The Williamsburg Business CommunityThe Williamsburg business community is unique from other communities. As much of our economic base is in tourism, a strong partnership and good working relationship exists between the well established Williamsburg Hotel/Motel Association and the Williamsburg Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. It is because of this relationship that Williamsburg can offer Ironman North America such a comprehensive and unified proposal. The Ironman VillageWilliamsburg offers several locations to host the Ironman Village. As the event is spread out over several days, we are proposing the College of William & Mary campus for much of the pre-/post- race activities. It is centrally located within the community. The banquets and other meetings may occur in other nearby accommodations like Colonial Williamsburg, the College of William & Mary or hotels with adequate space.
