Personal:
Born and raised in Fairport NY, Bob is a self-employed
contractor living in Bloomfield NY with his wife Kathy and
daughters, Jessica 19 and Lindsey 16. After 20 years of
smoking, Bob decided at the age of 37 to “get in shape”.
He completed his first sprint triathlon
in 1998, never believing he would ever consider an Ironman
distance race. With the prompting of training partners, he
decided to take on the Lake Placid challenge. Bob also
enjoys back- packing, mountaineering and underground lawn dart
competitions.

A minimalist at heart when it comes to
training, I have no structured “plan” other than to enjoy
the training whether alone or with friends.

Career:
Remodeling Contractor for 20 years, Bob has recently changed
his target market to furniture and fine carpentry.
