Personal: Mary is 28
years old and has a 21 month old son. She began racing in
1996, after coming home from college, where she swam for StonyBrook. She and her husband, Curt (also an
accomplished triathlete,) live in Henrietta, NY.
Athletic
Portfolio/Accomplishments:
In 1999 she raced elite in Canada and
finished 2nd overall for the elite women in the Subaru tri
series. After a pregnancy hiatus, she again raced elite in
the Subaru Triathlon series and won the series (with a 9
month old), fulfilling a lifelong goal.
She has completed one Ironman and
would like to do one more. She is also on the National
Duathlon Team and will participate in the October World
Championships. She has no interest in ever going to Hawaii.

helmet.
Career: She
is a
Pediatric ICU nurse. She also teach
cycling, kickboxing, step aerobics, and weight lifting
classes at the RAC.

Graduated from
Orchard Park High School in 1992. Swam varsity; two
years at Stony Brook and two years at University of Buffalo.
Degree in Nursing and is a registered Nurse working in
Strong's Pediatric ICU.
