David Soule - Elementary School Teacher

Charities - CAP (Children Awaiting Parents, Inc.), Hillside Children's Center of Rochester and the Humane Society

Personal - David lives in Canandaigua, NY with his wife Julie and dog, Mocha.  Born and raised in Rochester, NY, he is one of five existing siblings (a brother who was adopted from Hillside, died in Spain while on an exchange program).  His parents think he is crazy for wanting to return, but since he will be raising money for children, it must be worth while.

He is currently employed as an ESL teacher at North Street Elementary School in Geneva, NY where he teaches 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders.  His life's passions are people, travel, languages, and sport.

In 2001, he completed Ironman Lake Placid but was hospitalized for severe hyponatremia.   He is choosing to take this challenge once more in the name of charity and personal healing.  Since 1988, the year he completed his first olympic-distance triathlon at Hamlin Beach, the Ironman has been a life-long dream.
