Bob Tubbs - Marketing, Technology & Business Development Executive

Charity/Community Projects Selection:  Camp Good Days, Strong Children's Hospital, and the Humane Society

Personal:  Bob (49) and his wife Grace reside in Fairport, New York.  Grace and Bob recently purchased The Cedars Bed and Breakfast in Williamsburg, VA.  Grace & Bob are in the process of relocating to southern Virginia after spending many years in the Rochester area.

Athletic Portfolio/Accomplishments:

  • Participated in eight regional triathlons this year...made everyone else look good!
  • Third place co-ed team finish, Hamlin Beach Triathlon - August 25, 2002
  • Fourth place finish in the Clydesdales category, Wilson Wet & Wild Triathlon - July 10, 2002

Training:  At 6'0" and 220 lbs., Bob is a strong advocate of Clydesdale division.  Bob averages approximately 25-30 miles a week running, 50-150 miles a week on the bike and 2-3 hours a week in the pool or Keuka, Ontario or Canadaigua Lakes and recently the Mediterranean Sea.  In 2002, he has participated in eight triathlons and six road races. 

For the Hamlin Beach Triathlon, he pulled together a co-ed team, called the Three Ts (torpedo, trotter and tricycle) and took home third place metals with his two team mates Steve & Yvonne Gramlich.  In mid-September, he and two riding partners are bicycling around Lake Champlain over a 5 day period.

Career: Bob Tubbs was the Manager of Digital Business Development and Strategic Online Alliances for Xerox Corporation's eMarketing Group. Bob had been with Xerox four years. Until his recent layoff from Xerox, he was heavily involved with implementing a Corporate project for Siebel's eChannel product.  See resume.

Bob has twenty years experience in marketing, strategy, business development, and technology.  He has written several columns on the business of the Internet and hosted many high-profile Internet celebrities in eBusiness practitioner events in upstate NY.  Bob recently gave a keynote address on Partner Relationship Management in Monte Carlo in November, 2002.
