R. C. Tubbs & Associates has been involved with several major regional economic development initiatives.  In upstate New York, we organized a two-prong economic development venue for two key categories; regional economic development and technology transfer/orphaned technologies.

Event details are available at the eBusiness Association website.  This effort's  primary goal is to stimulate discussions around a regional economic development strategy and creating a process for taking patent portfolios and turning them into revenue-generating opportunity for business and academia. 

The Strength Through Collaboration initiative gave visibility and lent support to Greater Rochester Enterprise - a newly formed, privately funded-business based economic development organization in upstate New York.   The theme for the first day is Upstate New York’s Economic Future!  It brought together Upstate NY’s business, political and academic leaders in a public panel discussion about its economic future...communicating the business needs to our political and academic leaders who could then affect and influence the necessary changes.
